The remaining balance is due by the day services begin. Additional visits will be charged via PetPocketBook the following Monday (with service fees) or paid via upfront through Venmo, Cash App or PayPal. I do not have a collections team. If you remove your card from my software in order to run from paying me, I file theft of service immediately. Please find someone safe to play with.
Ways to pay to confirm booking:
What if I don't have a pet but need someone to check on my house? Do you provide house check services?
Absolutely! Contact me with your address for a quote.
If my pet is sick while I am away, can you pay for the bills and I reimburse you?
While at some point I hope to be large enough to offer this service but at this time I ask all of my pet parents to make sure they have a card on file with their vet or leave a credit card with me.
What's the difference between you and a Rover sitter?
That’s a great question!
Rover is a platform (that takes 25% of the price) — kind of like Uber or DoorDash — that connects pet parents with independent contractors. I’m actually on Rover too, but unlike many who use it as a side gig, pet sitting is my full-time profession. I'm sure you've heard some horror stories about Uber and DoorDash experiences...
So when you book with me, you’re not just hiring a rando… you’re trusting a seasoned pro who has a passion for what she does.
Image you have your next door neighbor cut down your tree and they hurt themselves and damage your home. What happens next? They neighbor sues you and you have to pay for your own repairs.
What do you think would happen if an independent contractor (rover sitter) was in your home and damaged your home and hurt themselves?
Do you bring anyone over with you?
Absolutely not. That would be reckless and irresponsible and a betrayal of trust. I do not bring any pets or people to your home. I respect your space and the amount of trust you are giving me. I would never do anything to betray that trust.
Should I leave you food?
Please definitely leave enough food for our animal friends as I may not have the time to stop at the store to pick any up.
As far as leaving food for me, althought that is very, very kind, it is not necessary. I always bring my own snacks. However, I will not say no! I really enjoy Rainbow chips delux cookies, strawberries, golden delicious apples, HEB chicken salad, and anything mango or key lime pie.
